ALISON MARTLEW

Alison Martlew is the bassest of The Butchies and does some vox. She is 29 and her signs are Leo sun, Scorpio rising, Cancer moon. She prefers boxer over briefs... lol. >:P Some of her musical influences are The Beetles and Sarah Lee and she also liked 80's metal bands! (hell YES!!! YUMMY!!!!!!) Alison has been playing music since the age of four, and stared playing bass after auditioning for a band who needed a bassest when she played guitar. So, she learned fast, and the rest is history. Her unexpected and brilliant bass lines, combined with her beautiful harmonies add a element to The Butchies that is forever unique, and always leaves a smile on my face... ::sighs::

KAIA WILSON

Kaia Wilson is the guitarist and lead singer for The Butchies, and a solo artist. She's been in the bands Adidkdid, and Team Dresch before they broke up and formed The Butchies in 98. Some of her favorite bands and her influences are Bikini Kill, Babes In Toyland, Cyndi Lauper, and The Smiths. Kaia used to have a record label called Mr. Lady with Tammy Rae Carland, but she left it not to long ago. MELISSA YORK

Melissa York plays drums for The Butchies, and she is now 35. She started to actually play drums at 21, because there wasn't enough room in her family's apartment for a set when she became interested at fourteen. She's been in the bands Vitapup and Team Dresch. Her favorite bands where The B-52's, Led Zeppelin and lots of 80's stuffs, and her star signs are Pisces sun, Scorpio rising, Taurus moon. She prefers briefs over boxers... YUM! lol... i love that question, i mean NO! erghm! Melissa's contagious energy on stage and her wicked awesome drum lines along with her goofiness has made her one of the greatest drummers of all time... you just gotta love Melissa. ::drools::
